The school LMC provides a setting where students develop skills they will need in life to locate, analyze, evaluate, interpret, and communicate information and ideas in an information-rich world.

The mission of the Ockerman Middle School Library is to:

• Encouraging students and staff interests in reading, viewing, and using information

• Equip students and staff with access to a variety of formats of material, both print and electronic

• Provide instruction to access information 

• Collaborate with Faculty to design a curriculum that meets the needs of each student
